The Vannis have been shooting architectural photography using computer postproduction since the late 1980s. This involves doing their own photography postproduction. The outcome are images that will yield the best results in the “digital darkroom” and on the printed page. Their architectural photography features a strong focus on light, color and composition. It stems from their interest and studies: Ruggero majored in painting at Cooper Union, and Valentina has a Master’s degree in History of Art and Architecture.
